THE IMAGE OF A WOMAN IN INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION: LINGUOPRAGMATIC ANALYSIS

This article analyzes the linguopragmatic features of the image of a woman in the process of intercultural communication. The study studies the mechanisms of speech strategies, communicative behaviors and stereotypes formed in relation to women in different cultural environments through language. Based on the linguopragmatic approach, the evaluative, emotional and socio-pragmatic functions of the image of a woman are revealed. Also, the use of speech units related to women in different cultures, their communicative purposefulness and contextual variability are analyzed. The results of the study serve to determine the role and significance of the image of a woman in intercultural communication and to provide a deeper understanding of gender-related communicative strategies.
