The article considers the problems of automating the process of solving systems of linear equations and assessing computational efficiency. Based on the Python programming language and the Tkinter and NumPy libraries, a software tool has been developed that allows the user to enter matrix coefficients through a graphical interface, solve the system, and view the execution time in milliseconds. How the computation time and the accuracy of the solution change as the system size n increases was analyzed experimentally on random systems from n=3 to n=2000; the time was measured using the time. perf_counter() function. The program can be used in the educational process as a tool for checking examples that students have solved independently.
