THE FUNCTION OF DEMONIC AND SUPERNATURAL IMAGES IN BRYUSOV'S ARTISTIC WORLD

This article examines the function of demonic and supernatural images in the artistic world of Valery Bryusov. The article analyzes how demonic motives, mystical essences and images of another world are used by the author to reveal philosophical, psychological and aesthetic ideas. Special attention is paid to the role of the supernatural as a means of modeling alternative reality and expressing the crisis of human personality in the era of modernism. The study shows that Bryusov's demonic images perform not only an artistic, but also a philosophical function.
