Allergic conjunctivitis is one of the most common allergic pathologies of the visual organ in children and is a serious medical and social problem due to its high prevalence, tendency to recurrent course and negative impact on the quality of life of the child. Despite the achievements of modern ophthalmology and allergology, the issues of early diagnosis, objective assessment of the activity of the inflammatory process, immunological mechanisms of disease development and control of the effectiveness of therapy remain insufficiently studied.
