Abstract

Background. Post-COVID syndrome (PCS) is dominated by neurological and neuropsychiatric symptoms, and its presentation may differ between women and men. Data from Central Asia are scarce, and no disease-modifying therapy is currently available. Aim. To characterise the clinical, epidemiological and sex-specific features of PCS after COVID-19 pneumonia and to evaluate the effect of adding Glycevit, a neurometabolic supplement containing gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), glycine, L-glutamine, pyridoxine and folic acid, to standard rehabilitation.
