This article examines the current activity and development of house museums in Tashkent, highlighting their cultural, historical, and educational significance. It provides a detailed overview of several prominent house museums dedicated to outstanding representatives of Uzbek literature, art, and music, including Gafur Ghulam, Abdulla Qakhkhor, Mukhtar Ashrafi, Ural Tansikbaev, Yunus Rajabi, Tamarakhonim, Oybek, Sergey Yesenin, and Sergey Borodin. The study analyzes the structure of these museums, their collections, memorial sections, and exhibition practices. Special attention is given to the preservation of historical authenticity alongside the introduction of modern museum approaches. The article concludes that house museums in Tashkent play an essential role in preserving cultural heritage, promoting national identity, and adapting to contemporary cultural demands.
